Goals of the Planning and information
To plan and implement the FBPIDIs’ medium and long-term development goals, objectives and strategies.
To monitor the implementation of the institute’s thematic areas, strategic results, strategic objectives, strategic initiatives projects and programs..
To analyze the institute’s programs for ensuring the national Food, Beverage, and pharmaceutical sector development agenda
Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting of Institutional, Directorate, and Individual level Plans.
Planning-Both Strategic and annual plans of the Institute.
Conduct Monitoring and integrative supportive supervision.
To assist teams and units involving in planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting efforts.
Analyze and share internal and external best practices and Ensure the plan of institutes and other core and support units address the long term goals of the institute
Coordinate the institute level corporate planning and review processes and Coordinating the development of the institute Strategy
Managing the day-to-day activities of the process, gathering and reporting on process metrics, tracking compliance to the process
Ensure and provide support services on an appropriate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system is in place and is functioning satisfactorily. Periodically review and revise the system so that it is adapted appropriately to planning and monitoring and evaluation operating contexts.
Provide training and mentoring for the staff according to the gap assessed.
Work closely with the change management and good governance directorate to prepare and conduct supervision and coordinate monitoring activities and inputs required of other team members
Anticipate, plan and support reporting requirements according to the prepared report format
Lead the day-to-day activities of the Directorate;
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual plans and reports and present it to the management
Develop quality assurance management systems to ensure constant and continuous improvement of the reporting, training, planning and administrative activities in the institute
Develop and coordinate the implementation of quality standards by institutes, and directorates;
Carry out annual satisfaction surveys of employees and customers;
Perform other duties that may be assigned to him by the institute management body
